An incredible site for getting uncomplicated explanations of technical DV stuff, plus an awesome array of links to other sites.
The 4 Ever Group An organization devoted to providing educational opportunities for video professionals. They also have an online store with a number of training videos by luminaries in the video industry.
The Power of Lighting Bill Holshevnikoff's home page, where you can find a terrific set of instructional videos on all aspects of lighting for film and video, as well as a variety of articles on lighting.

Mike Martin's Fast Forward Club

Active bulletin boards devoted to the JVC DV500 and Sony VX2000, among others, plus articles and reviews. No charge for access.

Great DV.com

Useful site with instructions on understanding and using the zebra viewfinder setting, viewfinder calibration, and a variety of quick, handy tips and tricks.
Bay Area Video Coalition A great selection of workshops and seminars, as well as access to a broadcast-quality non-linear edit suite.

Video University

An excellent souce of articles for all levels of expertise, and a very active BBS where you can get questions answered.
Elite Video Productions John Cooksey is a long-time contributor to WEVA magazine and presenter at WEVA conventions. Informative articles and John's "Rumor Mill" newsletter.
CyberCollege Wide array of articles about many aspects of video production.
DV News An impressive, it somewhat unorganized, site devoted to keeping tabs on the very latest digital video (pro-sumer level) equipment coming down the pike.
